Last updated: July 4, 2026

1. General Provisions

These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter – the Terms) govern the relationship between SIA AmaNORD (hereinafter – AmaNORD, we, us, our) and the visitor or customer of the website amanord.com (hereinafter – the Website) (hereinafter – the Customer, you) regarding the ordering, purchase, and delivery of goods.

By placing an order on the Website, the Customer confirms that they have read and agree to comply with these Terms.

In addition to these Terms, the processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, available on the Website.

3. Products

AmaNORD offers both individually ordered/made-to-order products (for example, ceramic tiles or other work manufactured according to the Customer’s specifications) and ready-made products available for immediate purchase.

Product descriptions, images, and technical specifications on the Website are provided for informational purposes. For made-to-order products, the actual colour, texture, or size may differ slightly from what is depicted, as this is characteristic of ceramic material and the handcraft process. Such natural variations are not considered a product defect.

4. Ordering Procedure

Orders may be placed using the order form available on the Website, by email, or through another communication channel specified by AmaNORD.

For made-to-order products, the order is confirmed once the Parties have agreed on the product specification, price, and delivery terms.

AmaNORD reserves the right to decline to fulfil an order if it is technically not feasible, if there are reasonable doubts regarding the information provided by the Customer, or for other objective reasons, of which the Customer will be informed.

5. Price and Payment

  • The Customer pays the full price for the ordered product on the Website at the time the order is placed.
  • Shipments to countries outside the European Union may be subject to additional customs procedures, customs duties, value-added tax (VAT) in the destination country, and other fees related to international shipping.
  • As the amount of these additional costs only becomes known after the shipment has been dispatched and delivered, the Customer may receive an additional invoice after receiving the shipment for the actual customs and other shipping-related costs incurred, which AmaNORD is unable to determine precisely at the time the order is placed.
  • All prices on the Website are stated in euros (EUR), unless otherwise indicated.

AmaNORD is not liable for delays caused by customs or tax authorities in the destination country, nor for the amount of charges imposed by such authorities.

6. Delivery

Delivery of products is carried out by an external delivery company (courier service). Delivery times and conditions are agreed upon at the time the order is placed and may vary depending on the destination and the delivery company’s terms.

The risk of damage to or loss of the product passes to the Customer at the moment the product is handed over to the delivery company, unless otherwise agreed between the Parties.

The Customer is responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address and contact information. AmaNORD is not liable for delivery delays caused by incorrect information provided by the Customer.

7. Right of Withdrawal and Returns

Made-to-Order Products

Under the Consumer Rights Protection Law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods manufactured according to the consumer’s specifications or which are clearly personalized. As AmaNORD’s made-to-order products are manufactured according to the Customer’s specifications, returns or withdrawal from such products after order confirmation is not possible, except where a manufacturing defect is identified.

Ready-Made Products

If a product is purchased as a ready-made, in-stock item and the Customer is a consumer (a natural person acting outside their trade, business, or profession), the Customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 (fourteen) calendar days of receiving the product, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Protection Law, provided the product is undamaged, unused, and retained in its original condition and packaging.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must notify AmaNORD using the contact details provided in Section 2.

Damaged or Defective Products

If a product is damaged or does not match the order upon delivery, the Customer must notify AmaNORD within 5 (five) days of receiving the product, attaching photographic evidence. Complaints submitted after this deadline may not be considered by AmaNORD. AmaNORD will review each complaint submitted within the deadline on an individual basis and offer a solution – repair, replacement, or appropriate compensation.

8. Warranty

Products are covered by the statutory conformity guarantee set out in the Consumer Rights Protection Law, where the Customer is a consumer.

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper use, wear and tear, mechanical damage, or improper installation, nor does it cover natural material characteristics (for example, variations in ceramic colour or texture) that are not considered a defect.

Specific warranty terms and periods for individual products may be indicated in the order confirmation or accompanying documentation.

9. Limitation of Liability

AmaNORD is liable for the fulfilment of its obligations in accordance with these Terms and applicable legislation. AmaNORD is not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, or damages arising from the actions or omissions of the Customer or third parties.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes AmaNORD’s liability where such limitation or exclusion is not permitted under applicable law (for example, liability for intentional breach or gross negligence).

10. Intellectual Property

All materials published on the Website – texts, images, logos, design elements – are the intellectual property of SIA AmaNORD or its licensors. Copying, reproducing, or using these materials without the prior written consent of AmaNORD is not permitted, except for viewing them on the Website.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and the relationship between the Parties are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia.

The Parties shall resolve disputes through mutual negotiation. If no agreement is reached, the dispute shall be resolved in the courts of the Republic of Latvia in accordance with applicable legislation.

As a consumer, the Customer has the right to contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (PTAC) or use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform if the dispute is not resolved through negotiation.

12. Amendments to the Terms

AmaNORD reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Amendments take effect upon publication on the Website and do not apply to orders confirmed prior to the amendments taking effect.

The current version of the Terms is always available on the Website.
